Monsoon rains have wreaked havoc across Pakistan. According to the latest report by the National Disaster Management Authority, more than 500 deaths occurred across the country over the past six weeks. Over 39,000 homes have been either partially damaged or fully destroyed by the deluge, along with the destruction of infrastructure such as highways, roads, and bridges.
Here is a video of a Karachi resident's walls that have collapsed due to the heavy rains. This resident is currently residing with her children at a relative's home until the walls of their house are repaired. Her husband is a rickshaw driver who is having a difficult time making an earning during this monsoon season.
This family is in dire need of financial assistance to repair the damaged walls caused by the heavy rains. To rebuild these walls, it will cost 3-4 lakh rupees ($2000 CAD). All profits made from our online shop will go towards this project. Please consider donating and spreading the word about this Home Repair project.

We are very thankful to those that made donations to the Home Repair Project. With the funds raised, we were able to make emergency repairs to the damaged wall and floor that caused unsafe living conditions during the monsoon season for a family in Karachi. Your donations have made it possible for the family to return to their home safely. We thank you greatly for your kindness.
